Jeffrey S. Bardin is a globally recognized authority in cyber intelligence, cyber counterintelligence, and information operations.
As the Chief Intelligence Officer and founder of a premier provider of intelligence services to clients across four continents, his work has been instrumental in building and operationalizing cyber intelligence programs grounded in tradecraft, strategic planning, and a deep understanding of adversary behavior and socio-cultural contexts.
With over 30 years of experience spanning both the public and private sectors, Jeffrey Bardin has developed and deployed intelligence frameworks that include full lifecycle methodologies—from persona development and collection management to structured analytic techniques and stakeholder analysis. His expertise bridges advanced cyber threat intelligence, clandestine cyber HUMINT, cognitive warfare, and hybrid warfare domains, with a specialized focus on Russian, Chinese, and Iranian information operations.
Jeffrey Bardin’s background includes decorated military service as a cryptologic linguist with the USAF and as a 2LT and M1 Tank Commander with the US Army/Army National Guard.
He has been the recipient of several prestigious industry awards, including the RSA Conference Award for Excellence in Security Practices and the SC Magazine Best Security Team award. A sought-after speaker and educator, Jeffrey Bardin is a former adjunct professor at Utica College and Clark University and has trained intelligence professionals from Fortune 100 companies, global banks, NATO, and U.S. government agencies.
He has authored numerous courses and publications and contributed to academic and technical works, including the Computer Information Security Handbook and The Illusion of Due Diligence.
His educational credentials include an M.S. in Information Assurance (Cum Laude) from Norwich University and a B.A. in Middle East Studies/Arabic Language from Trinity College, with additional studies in Russian language and culture.
