Our Scientific Committee serves as Ukraine Foundation’s principal advisory and oversight body for all research-related initiatives.
Composed of leading experts from academia, policy, technology, and cultural studies, the Committee will ensure that the Foundation’s activities are grounded in rigorous, evidence-based analysis and aligned with our mission to foster peace, resilience, and sustainable development in Ukraine.
Role and Mandate
The Scientific Committee will guide the Foundation’s research strategy, defining thematic priorities, approving research agendas, and ensuring that projects meet the highest standards of scientific integrity and ethical conduct. It will act as a bridge between the Foundation and the global academic and policy communities, promoting knowledge exchange and collaborative innovation.
Key Activities
• Strategic Research Planning: Recommend annual and long-term research priorities in areas such as conflict resolution, reconstruction, governance reform, and socio-economic resilience.
• Project Evaluation: Review and advise on research proposals, methodologies, and outcomes to ensure relevance, quality, and measurable impact.
• Ethics & Standards: Develop and monitor compliance with ethical guidelines for research and data use.
• Capacity Building: Support talent development through workshops, fellowships, and mentorship for emerging scholars and practitioners.
• Outreach & Partnerships: Facilitate international collaboration, ensuring Ukraine’s challenges and innovations are represented in global forums.
