In 2018, Banar showcased his versatility by collaborating with saxophonist Andrey Chmut on the album “Smoothability,” lending his vocals to the track “I’ll Always Be There.” This project highlighted his ability to seamlessly integrate his voice into smooth jazz compositions, earning acclaim within the genre.

Banar’s commitment to his craft is evident in his active engagement with his audience. He maintains a vibrant presence on social media platforms, particularly Instagram, where he shares insights into his creative process and previews of upcoming projects. Notably, he has announced the development of an EP featuring contemporary renditions of Ukrainian folk songs, aiming to bridge traditional melodies with modern soundscapes.

In 2019, Banar’s talent was recognized on a national stage when he participated in the ninth season of “The Voice of Ukraine.” His blind audition featured a rendition of Jamala’s “Obeshchanye,” which captivated the judges and advanced him to the subsequent rounds. This experience underscored his dedication to sharing Ukrainian culture through his music on prominent platforms.

Beyond his solo endeavors, Banar has been an integral member of the renowned Ukrainian vocal group ManSound. As a tenor, he has contributed to the group’s rich a cappella harmonies, performing at numerous festivals and concerts worldwide. His involvement with ManSound has further solidified his reputation in the Ukrainian music scene.
